I did a quick tutorial on how to flat twist hair. I love flat twist because it's a protective style and you can wear it for a few days too. Once the twist are old, you can un-twist your hair and wear it wavy. It's a simple style to do. It just takes practice to make the perfect twist.

I was very excited to see that Target is selling a black barbie with natural hair.  I have always wanted a barbie to resemble me and finally I have one.  The fact that this barbie has a curly afro makes my heart smile.  I guess the world is finally becoming "natural" friendly ;-) My Barbie twin!!

So recently I've gotten hooked to a new product when I went to get my hair straightened at the hairdresser.  My hairdresser used a new line by CHI called Deep Brilliance that are targeted to black women.  It says sulfate free, but I've come to learn every product you buy has sulfates in them and if it's labeled sulfate free then the amount of sulfate in them are very low.  Everyone knows sulfates

So many people make a huge deal about Valentine's Day. I never get excited about Vday because it's another day to me.
